VS9 and Indeo Codec

I've just installed VS9 but it asks me to install the indeo codec and points me to the Indeo site where I am requested to purchase it. The manual however says indeo codec will be installed automatically..... can someone please clarify.

I'm having the same problem... aparently the codec is (or was) included in the VideoStudio 8 install CD. The problem is that I downloaded the version 9 installer and it DOES NOT include the codec. What is worse, even the extra download packs (750 megs of extra content) don't include the codec! So, all those pretty video transitions that you can download to use in VS9 don't work at all. I sent in a tech support problem to their helpdesk two weeks ago and haven't heard back from them. In fact, the link in their initial email to check on the progress of the issue doesn't exist anymore.

So, I'm in the same boat as you and hope that they will send out a notice to anyone that downloaded the new version on how to also download the codec very soon. It's quite frustrating to pay for a product that has such a fundamental part of it missing right from the start!
