I am afraid we need a lot more information. I am not even really sure what you mean by the 'virtual memory fix'...
Please read the top sticky post on this Board which says "Please read this before posting" -- http://phpbb.ulead.com.tw/EN/viewtopic. ... 1454#41454 . Then come back with the information and someone may be able to help.

Errors in video publishing
I am having the same problkem as the first poster. I am running video studio version 11 with windows xp on a 2 ghz hard drive with 2gb of ram.
When I attempt to burn to a file, I receive the message "unable to load library"...If I attempt to burn it to a disc I receive the message "Undefined error 19151:3:3
iI have azttempt to create the product on file four times, and have made three attempts at writing it to disc...each time with the result noted above.
I have scanned videos for damage...there is none....I have downloaded the program again and still I have the same problem.
I don't know of any other pertinent info I can provide, but, I am open to and welcome any suggestions.

The error "unable to load library" can be due to a couple of issues..
What is the properties of your source video clips? Right-click on a clip in your time-line or library, select properties and post them back here.
This error has also surfaced when some transitions are used in the project that VS no longer supports, like the 3D Album transitions. Several of these were dropped so that VS would meet Vista criteria.
Temp files created in the working folder(s) you specified in Preferences (press F6) to open the Preferences dialog window. Be aware that there are 2 totally different Preferences dialog windows. The editor and burn module each have their own. The editor is what you edit your clips in, the burn module (Share>Create Disc) is what you author a DVD in. With all of that said, check those Temp folders and remove all files inside the folders, not the folders themselves.

I'm using photos: Eastman Kodak Easyshare Camera M853. Color:sRGB. 2472 X 3296px, 480 dpi. All the photos (298) are from the same source. Since the project stalls at 12%, I don't believe it's a problem with the photos. Logically, it shouldn't even make 1% if the photos were the cause of the error.vidoman wrote:The error "unable to load library" can be due to a couple of issues..

OK. Before I get into this point let me ask this: if some of the transitions can cause problems why weren't they removed??? (I must assume they weren't else you wouldn't have mentioned them). BTW, I'm running XP Pro SP2 (not Vista). The 3D effect is still available in the version I have (11.5.0157.2 plus, with all the fixes and updates in place).Which, exactly, transitions are no longer supported? A list would be nice (to have them removed from the program even better). I tell you, I really don't want to sit here and add and then delete transitions from my project to see what works. Considering the price it's an awful lot to expect a customer to do, isn't it? Very time consuming so I'm hoping for a list of the effects currently supported at least. I would try exporting the file without transition effects, but tell me, just how do I delete all of them from my project? The only way I see is to delete a single effect at a time. With 298 photos, this is also very time consuming for the customer. I'm not a very happy camper right now.vidoman wrote:This error has also surfaced when some transitions are used in the project that VS no longer supports, like the 3D Album transitions. This was one of the first fixes I tried. Didn't make a difference.vidoman wrote:Temp files created in the working folder(s) you specified in Preferences (press F6) to open the Preferences dialog window. Maybe I can sell this program to the blind guy across the street...but no, that would really be too cruel.

I went back over your suggestions trying to get a handle on this error. One thing stuck in my mind...the transition effects, and how you stated several had been removed to make VS comply with Vista. I decided to investigate further. I intended to go through every transition effect. It didn't take long to find the culprit. When I clicked on the Flip effect in the 3D folder there was no transition in the preview, just a black screen. So, I navigated to the C:\Program Files\Ulead Systems\Ulead VideoStudio 11\vfx_plug directory, found a file named Flip.vfx, and transferred it to a holding directory. I then restarted VS and applied all the remaining transition effects to my project (overwriting the previous effects which contained the Flip effect) and lo and behold...my project encoded to an MPEG file with nary a glitch! I can only assume that either that particular file was somehow broken or when VS support was removed for some of the effects, this one somehow was overlooked and left behind. Now, I caution, this worked for me but may not work for someone with the same error message because (as you stated) there are several fixes for this problem. I would only recommend this as a last resort due to the fact that when I moved the Flip.vfx file back into its original directory and restarted VS, it did not appear again in the 3D folder. A very happy camper at last!

The Flip/Album transitions have been a pain since they were first introduced several versions ago. There were once a lot more of them but they have been whittled down to deal with various problems over the years, the latest being compatibility with Vista. They are a great, slick concept when they work. I happen to be one user who has only had the very occasional problem with one or two of them, but then again, I use the effect very sparingly. But I have found other packages (e.g. CanopusFX) which have a similar effect, seem to do it with less trouble.
I might just point out, by the way, that none of us here on this Board actually work for Corel, so we have no say over what goes in or out of a program, much less know the reason why particular decisions may have been taken. We are all just users like yourself, who have been using the program for some time, and volunteer our services to try to help others...

Hmmmmm
I did think you mods worked for Corel. My mistake (probably a common newbee mistake). Well, I hope you guys post my fix to give other users another avenue to fix a similar problem. Thanks for the assist Ken.
