Questions on workflow

Post by Ken Berry »

I have been asked yet again by private email the following question. I have reminded the sender of Board policy for Moderators not to answer private emails on matters relating to Video Studio, because otherwise users who have similar problems would not be able to take advantage of answers provided in a private email response.

This is the original question:

Ken,

I saw your name on the site of Corel as a forum contact. May I ask you to walk me through some basis issues that I have with Ulead Video Studio that I am encountering.

Basically I am a novice at this and at this point I have recorded through CAPTURE a Video which I want to burn onto a DVD. I attempted to do this with NERO Essentials, however NERO does not recognize the format of the copy stored. What next?

I have not either edited , created or done anything else with the program and the manual is to me written in legalese. I am trying to contact or find a contact in Melbourne to assist me in being able to find my way around.

Many thanks for your assistance.

While I would like to help, you have not give any necessary detail. We need a lot more information. Please read the top sticky post on this Board which says "Please read this before posting" -- http://phpbb.ulead.com.tw/EN/viewtopic. ... 1454#41454 . Then come back with the information and someone may be able to help.

At the very least, we need to know the exact format of the video you captured. In Video Studio, if you have imported the captured video into the program, then *right* click on one of the files in the library pane or timeline and copy down ALL its properties here please.

Also tell us how you captured it, what equipment (in detail) was involved, your computer specifications, what its operating system is, and even what version of Video Studio you are using... Without this sort of information, no one is going to be able to help because otherwise we are simply guessing...
