Yes, if you don't change the location or names of any of the files in the original project. VS is backwards compatible i.e. later versions can open projects from earlier versions, though not vice versa.
That being said, though, it is often better to finish a project in the same version you started it in. If you plan to edit your VS10 version in the trial version of VS11, for instance, but do not finish it within the 30 day trial period, or you decide otherwise not to buy VS 11, then you may have difficulties if you applied effects in VS11 which do not exist, or not in the same way, in VS10...
