Trouble viewing 'project'

Hey everyone, I looked around the answer to this problem, but was unable to find it.
Operating System: Windows XP
Motherboard: ??
Graphic Card:??
Sound Card:??
Processor: 1.6 GHZ
Hard Disk Drive: 20GB
Memory: 1.25GB

So I don't know if that is the info needed to answer the question, but here goes.

Describe your problem: After putting in various clips in the timeline, when I click the 'project' button, there is only audio, no video. It's a hassle saving the whole thing when I just want to make sure audio and video are lined up.

Properties of your source files (format, file size, where did you get it?): I think it is MPEG-2, I think. I have a Panasonic SDR-H200. Various file sizes.

What devices are involved and their mode of connection?:

Project Settings (important): Not sure(?)

Output format (file, DVD, VCD, SVCD): Doesn't matter. When I save the file, it all comes together, the audio and video both work fine.

PAL or NTSC: NTSC (US)

Error Codes (if any): None
