Is it possible to extact sound track of a concert I shot ; If yes what is the sound format if not do I ned an additional software ?

You don't say which version of Video Studio you are using. But with VS11/11.5, you have your video in the timeline. On the edit page, in the centre right of screen, you will see a series of buttons. One of them is Split Audio. Click on that, and the audio from the video will appear in one of the audio channels of the timeline.
Next, go to Share, and again almost in the dead centre of screen are several buttons, one of which is Create Sound File. Click that, and it will create a standard .wav file of the audio channel (though you can also choose among a small number of other audio formats).
