Hi Steve

I recently completed the online registration process (using this e-mail address) but have yet to recieve my confirmation/activation email. I am using Ulead Movie Fadctory 3.5 and i am currently at my wits end trying to find the solution to the following problem. I desperate'ly need help!

Operating System: Windows 2000
Ulead Movie Factory 3.5
C:/ 7.5 G bytes free space

I have created my slideshow, it amounts to 38 minutes. However, on my PC i have no DVD burner. Therefore i select the 'create disc image file' option and then link to the other pc in my network which has a dvd burner. I have done this before and never had any problems. After an hour or more of 'converting' the dvd.iso file should appear on my other pc to the location i specified. However, its not. Nothing appears on the other pc, what i get is a bunch of files left on my pc, none of which are the finished dvd.iso file ready for burning. Without this file i believe i cannot burn to disc.

I dont know if i have given enough information here, or even if you have time to answer. But if you can make something from the above and give me some pointers i would really appreciate it. I really am going round the twist with this.

Kind Regards
Alistair

You are attempting to create an ISO file and at the same time send it to another PC. This can be a bit of a strain on the PC which perhaps is trying to create the ISO file at a different speed to that which the PC is capable of transferring the file over your network.

Try to create the ISO file on the PC that has MovieFactory installed and when completed try ending the ISO over your network.

You may also need to free up some hard drive space on your C drive 7.5 GB is not much when you are dealing with video editing/authoring.

Thanks for helping Steve

I have just tried creating the .ISO file onto my PC but unfortunate'ly i'm getting the same result. Before starting the 'converting' process my 3.0 file inside my Ulead folders was empty, after the converting process has finished (with the 'completed successfully' message appearing like normal) i should find the dvd.iso file inside my Ulead 3.0 folder. However here is what i am getting after coverting has finished:

UleadDVDMovieFactory/3.0/DiscImageFile + DMF_TEMP

The Disc Image File folder is EMPTY???

The DMF_TEMP folder has the following folders inside it 'SlideShow.... VIOTMP...... Convert'

The SlideShow folder holds many .UPT files
The VIOTMP folder is Empty
The Convert folder has .WMA Movie files and VOBU_IDX files

I dont know what any of this is for and i am very confused as to why i do not have a single dvd.iso file within my disc image file folder.

Can anyone help?

Regards
Ali
