I have an Apple TV hooked up to my HDTV. I would like to edit some video to play in 720P on the Apple TV. To do this I think I need to setup a project profile that outputs to MPEG-4 (or H.264) in 1280x720 resolution. I would like to edit in this resolution to take advantge of high resolution pictures and video in the timeline content.
Is this possible in VideoStudio 11+? I tried to create a project profile, but the max resolution it would go up to was 720x576.
Editing in 720P? Is this Possible?

How do you intend to playback videos on the HDTV (apple tv). Is it connected to your computer on the secondary port of the video card, or using a Blu-Ray disk player / multi-media player?I have an Apple TV hooked up to my HDTV.
You can setup your projects in 1280x720p by changing the compression to mpeg2, but the resolution is really based on your source videos, not the HDTV..
Hi Jav
by default, VS11+ will allow you to output to HDV 720p - that uses mpeg2 compression rather than H.264.
You can find this in "Share > Create Video File > HDV > HDV 720p - 30p (for HDV)"
The H.264 encoding options are otherwise limited in resolution, seemingly aimed at portable devices, or otherwise at full HD resolution. Using "Share > Create Video File > AVCHD" you can select either "H.264 1920 x 1080" or H.264 1440 x 1080"
If you load Quicktime Pro, however, I believe you will then have access to more resolution options for encoding.
