I have Movie Factory 5 Plus, and have recently been investigating the HD DVD and Blu-Ray options it provides. I came across this web page:
http://digitalproducer.digitalmedianet. ... inter=true
You will notice that on the second screen shot there is an option for Blu-Ray in Create a Video Disk. I was surprised to find that on my MF5P installation this option does not exist.
Do I have to update to Service Pack 1 (even though the Ulead site says it is not necessary if the Plus version is installed) to gain this option?
Missing Blu-Ray option

That's an old post on MovieFactory 5.
The Blu-Ray option was in the very first release, then removed.
The program only burnt to a Blu-Ray disk, not a dvd.
You can in MF5+ burn a Blu-Ray BDAV disk if you own a blu-ray burner. That is a blu-ray disk without menus, you still need the burner.
In MF6+ with Patch#2 and the HD-PowerPack you can create Blu-Ray Menued Disks. Many options.
