what could i do

Post by dabear »

I have this song and the beat goes " boom boom boom " 1/2secs, and I tried to flash the video in and out on each beat kick. but it goes way to fast to do the flash justice. Any idea on what i could do for this?

Take every 4th or 8th beat, maybe?

Audio Editor. If you F5'it, it will mark it. Prob is, Video editor will see the marks, but, not as edit points. You will have to re-mark them. Yes, it's a wish list item. Would that be so cool? Mark something in Audio and have the marks appear in Video?

You could keyframe the punch filter to the beats.

like there's so many ways you can go about this, I'm just seeing what some might suggest for me to do and maybe learn a bit.

"Mark something in Audio and have the marks appear in Video?"
The audio editor does that?

Yes it does, just make sure "show cues" is on in Video Editor. You can use Audio editor to cue the points, working as a wav file, then when you load the file into Video Editor, the cues show, but, not as video cues. You will have to manually remark them in Video Editor.

You could do the same directly from Video Editor, the one thing I like, is, if you mark them in Audio Editor, the cues are there the next time you may need that file.

If you bought Charlie Hill's "Getting Results with MediaStudio Pro 8", you would get a step-by-step tutorial how to do this (and hundreds of other things). It costs next-to-nothing in comparison to the benefits it offers to beginners and advanced users alike.

It will be the best 15 bucks you will ever spend.
