I just picked up the boxed version of MF6+. I have 14 days left of the trial version. Do I have to uninstall the trial version before I install my boxed version? If so, what is the best way to do that? Add/delete programs in the control panel?
What happens to the trial version when the 30 days are up?
Installation question
Yes, use the add/remove programs and reboot the computer.
If you don' have any other ulead software installed then after you reboot goto the following location and delete the "Ulead Systems" directory.
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Ulead Systems
Then Install MF6+ Retail, next Patch#2, and if you have the HD-Add-On pack then install that.
Don't install the HotFix unless the Retail Version will not install.
That's only supposed to be if you can't install the retail version, which you would install the HotFix FIRST before installing anything.
