Also dissapointed

Post by FrankM »

Hi, I¡¦ve been a PI user since PI 4.0 and as a serious amateur photographer have always enjoyed the product and the price. I have just downloaded X3 and as with others I am very disappointed. I too was hoping for something new, like Layers that would match PS. As we know, everything in the photo magazines is about PS and Layers. But, alas there is no significant change or for that matter any change to PI. My only interest is in photo editing and I am not interested in the other programs. There isn¡¦t even an upgrade to PE or Album and there is not even a copy of these programs included as in the past.

To top it all off, I received an email from Corel stating that because I was a long time customer and valued I could buy X3 for just $49.99. I can buy the upgrade online for the same price so where is the big thank you.

Bottom line I don¡¦t think I will upgrade to X3.

X3 appears to be much more stable for me in Vista than PI10 (which was the version I was using before).
