VS11/Updates/versions,

Post by brucefl »

hi
Was checking the site on updates and patches. How do I figure out which version I have, and whether I can update this Ulead VideoStudio 11 Plus Power Pack (Release Date: 2007/11/8) ?
Or would it matter if I had done it already? (though I don't think I did)

I do have vs11+. Some programs will tell you what version it updates it too, and also click help and about tells you the version. Tried starting all 3 options to see,may be missing it.

thanks Bruce

If you have VS11+ already installed, you can ignore the most recent Hot Fix available on the Ulead website. It is only meant for those people who have trouble installing the AVControl SDK. So if you did not have trouble with that, ignore that fix.

That leaves the 6 November patch and the 8 November Hot Pack which upgrades VS11+ to VS11.5. And you install them in chronological order (i.e. 6 Nov first, then 8 Nov).

Video Studio Help > About VS should indeed tell you the version number. It is (normally) immediately below the big blue image of the label. In my version, which includes both the patch and the Hot Pack, I have version 11.5.0157.2.
