Runtime Error in capturing programs

I use MSP since about 15 years. Suddenly I got a runtime error (Microsoft Visual C++Runtime Library) without any specifications. The error occurs only, when I open a capturing program (MSP 7, MSP 6.5, MSP Movie Factory and also Nero Vision). It seems, the error is not in the programs, but in a file/driver/codec, which they use together. How can I locate the error. Thank you for helping me.
