Extra content won't install

I just picked up my hobby again with video editing. I also installed Cool 3D Production Studio. After that i tried to install some extra content but ik keep getting an error that version 1 needs to be installed. The problem is i have version 1 installed. Does anyone have a sollution. The problem is that i have a problem with my email. I can't receive or send emails at the moment. So i can't contact Corel or Ulead by email. Contacting by phone is a bit expensive calling from Holland. Hope someone can help me.

Do you have version 1.0 or 1.01? If it is version 1.0 you need to download and install the update. http://www.ulead.com/tech/c3ds/c3ds_ftp.htm You can also try downloading fresh content files and installing.

I tried it with both, version 1.0 en 1.0.1. I keep getting the error "need version 1 to be installed. I installed en deinstalled it several times. Who was the answer???

Sorry, it is with installing these extra components that i get the error can't find ulead cool 3d production studio on your computer, make sure version 1 is installed on yopur computer.

Walterbos,
Try putting these content .exe in the same folder as COOL3D Production Studio. This should help with the file path association.

I just tried your answer en downloaded the extra component and put it in the Cool 3d poduction studio map. I donwloaded the extra presets en put it in the preset map from Cool 3d production studio. But i again get the message; can't find cool 3d production studio version 1.0 installed on your computer. Make sure cool 3d production studio 1.0 is installed on your computer. i'm getting crazy cause i have cool 3d production studio installed. Who can help me solve this problem.

Well since you would like to contact tech support, and it's expensive to call from Holland, I'll save you the money, and provide the same answer you're most likely get from them..

Hopefully you have the installation CD or files backed up somewhere...

Try doing a complete un-install/re-install. Ulead programs leave a lot of files behind. So just doing a simple add/remove programs from the control panel and then re-installing may not correct some issues. Instructions can be found here : Re-installation of Ulead Products

Once you have the program uninstalled and all the related files/folders deleted you might do a clean up and defrag at least your root drive if you have more than one. Then try reinstalling.

It almost sounds like something has corrupted on your system, that would allow the installer to see the path to the program.
