"Night Vision" filters

Post by ironclaw »

Can someone help? I am using Videostudio 9 and my daughter has taken some video recordings using a camera with a "night vision" facility, which obviously records at low light levels. Sadly, this means everybody in the recording looks "bleached", black clothes appear "grey/green", and we all look like vampires! Can anybody advise which filter settings may assist in returning a modicum of normality to the said clips? Thanks for any advice .....

Without seeing a screen shot of one of your clips we can only guess at what it looks like. How about converting it to monochrome?

I had a similar low light clip. First I tried the 'auto exposure'
video filter. No help. Converted the clip to mono (black
and white) and it was the answer in that particular situation.
