templates missing after reintstallation mf4

I am very pleased with MF but lately some big problems have arised.

I originally have an mf2 version and upgraded it to an mf4 version some time ago. I also had to reinstall everything on my PC. After doing so, the templates in MF4 didn`t exist anymore. I was planning to install MF6, and I downloaded a trialversion and the same problem occourred. Only a few templates, buttons, background ets were enabled. How can I fix the problem I have with mf4?

Sorry if you this sounds like I am telling you off - I am not.
You can alter the title by using the button on your first post.

The purpose of providing a meaningful title is this.
There are a number of members on the forum who try and help troubleshoot problems - myself included. In the early days of the user forum it was not too difficult to be able to read all of the posts submitted since the last time I (or one of the other troubleshooters) had logged on.

On the Forum Home page at the top right is a link
view posts since last visit In the forums early days this would perhaps range between 10-30 posts. Today however the board has grown in popularity and more products are now catered for including the former Intervideo products before the merger with Ulead.

There have been days when I have logged on to find over 70 new posts since my last visit. It is of course impossible to read each and every one of them and so it is necessary to look at the titles to pick out posts where I feel I am able to offer some worthwhile input.

if you are viewing perhaps the VideoStudio forum and a post is entitled
"VideoStudio" - it doesn't really give you a clue, similarly in the PhotoImpact forum a post entitled [PhotoImpact] is equally as meaningless.

Giving a post a suitable title is a means of helping us to help you.

In answer to your poor number of templates issue.
1. Have you installed the extra content packs?
2. You can use templates from any other Ulead programs you own.
MF5/MF6/VS9 /VS10: Share Menus, Transitions between products

I do not find any extra content pack attached. I received the update as a download, and the file is not explorable as far as I can see. I have imported templates, button and frames from mf2 and that was not a problem.

Obviously there were different versions of MovieFactory 4.
I had MovieFactory 4 Disc Creator Edition. I was supplied with the following files:

dmf4_content_multiple.exe 345,766 KB
dmf4_fulladv_e.exe 98,186 KB
dmf4_up4_e.exe 21,605 KB

I already had at that time other Ulead programs so cannot remember if this was the Full Version or the Upgrade Version.

Hello!

Problem solved. I have three version of the main program98, mb. Two of them didn`t work very well. Therefore I had only installed the final version and not templates and other programs 368 mb.
