As I have just finished telling someone else, for most people, upgrading their DirectX from the Microsoft DirectX website with the latest patch (November 2007) seems to fix problems with VS11/11.5 under both XP SP2 and Vista. Note that you will probably currently have DirectX 9.0c, and that version number will not change when you apply that patch, but it will definitely add quite a few fixes.

You might also want to look at this thread as a possible cause of your problems. http://phpbb.ulead.com.tw/EN/viewtopic. ... 223#143223

That link that Steve just gave certainly works correctly for and connected me immediately to the reinstallation page... :lol: It's http://phpbb.ulead.com.tw/EN/viewtopic. ... 5773#55773

Have a look at my suggestions above too...

It should be as Steve has it in his article...
Video Studio 11+¡K¡K¡K¡K¡K¡K¡K¡K¡K¡K¡K¡K¡K¡K¡K¡K¡K¡K¡K. {F99F9E24-EE2F-47FD-AEB0-FDB82859B5C9}
I just tried it by copying everything(except the VS11+ and the dotted line) including the curly braces, and pasting it into the Find box of regedit. Make sure to check the box at the bottom of the Find box "Match whole string only".

If you can't find it, It may have already been removed by the uninstaller.
