benefits of version 11?
I currently used Video Studio version 9 and am considering purchasing version 11. I don't really need the new features they list, but I sure would like the old features to work consistently. For instance, ripple editing doesn't always work and mark-in, mark-out doesn't always work either. Is version 11 less buggy?

FWIW, I never had many problems with VS9. In fact about the only problem I had, was getting an uncorrupted download. Once I had that, no problems. Ripple editing and mark-in/out worked as it should.
With VS11+ it seems to function (for me) as it should. I don't delve into the Hi-Def editing, just the (now old) but very reliable DV. I do not try to edit highly compressed formats (DivX, WMV, Xvid) that are not meant to be edited. I do not push the limits of my system, and have followed the recommended workflow, and lastly I do not install codec packs. VS has managed to use the codecs installed by the OS, ones installed by other utilities/programs such as DivX Pro(I use the DivX codec to convert DV for uploading to the web, I do not try to edit DivX files), or it's own quite well.
