Burning DVD - Video shrunk to the upper-left-hand corner

Post by baryim »

Hi all, I'm a newbie here and VideoStudio 11 Plus. I've created my projects and tried to burn a DVD. But after burning them to a DVD and playing it in MS Media Player, I got the video strunk to the upper left hand corner. I tried to burn them to an iso image but the problem persists. Can someone please help me here?

Which version of MS media palyer are you using and what are your video and Project properties while you work and edit?

What do format do you choose when you are Sharing the edited project?

Thanks for your reply.

Player: MS Media Player 9
Project Properties: Microsoft AVI files (There's another choice of MPEG files)
Format: DVD 4.7G

are these what you're looking for?

BTW, I'm from HK. does NTSC or PAL settings matter?

can you report what happens when you play the DVD on a TV monitor and on the PC with something else other than Media Player.

If you have VS installed it's likely you also have WinDVD.

Good call, Clevo. I stick the DVD into DVD player and play it on TV, and everything is OK. Thanks a lot.

Still doesn;t explain what happens in Media Player.

Though...when I play my projects in Windows Media Player it plays it in Fast Forward. I still haven't figured that out yet. :)
