Red line on editing screen

Post by krepto »

Hi I a newbie, please bare with me. I am editing a video and I somehow got a redline on top of the time line. When I try to play my the video it starts at the point were the line begins not at the beginning. How do I move it. Also 2 quick sound questions 1. how do I mute the sound for the whole video so I can only hear the sound track and 2. I have added a sound track but it doesnt play over every clip. Thanks

To remove red line:

With your scrubber curser at the begining (Time Code-00:00:00:00) click the "[" button just under your preview screen. You'll need to be in Project view and NOT in Clip

To mute the natural sound on the video click the Speaker button or reduce the number from 100 to 0(zero)

Yes, you've accidentally set the Preview Range.
