I keep on receiving error message each time I click on any theme template provided in Smart Compositor. What seems to be the problem ? tried the uninstall-install method still leads to the same problem.

Just found out that some of the files from C:\Program Files\Ulead Systems\Ulead MediaStudio Pro 8.0\video either reads ;

File format mismatch (.swf) or contains no data (.mpg)

Correct me if I¡¦m wrong but to my understanding (by looking at it) , these files are for Smart Compositor

What could cause this problem ? Thanks

Can those play OUTSIDE of MSP? If not, they are obviously corrupt.

Smart Compositer was a nice concept, but, actually you don't really need it to accomplish the same. I have problems with one or two templates not saving the info in the edit. If I exit the Video editor, all is lost.

It _would_ be nice, since a lot of work is already done for you.

I would suggest that your problem may be because these files are not in the right directory. They should be in ...\Ulead Systems\Ulead MediaStudio Pro 8\samples\video.

It is normal that you cannot play SWF files without a Shockwave reader, but the MPG files should play in WMP.
