Show Highlight (Nav) Buttons in menu - don't seem to work?

I read somewhere in this forum that some of the menu templates in MovieFactory don't have highlighted navigation buttons, and I also read the following as a solution to this problem by another member:

" Also as I previously posted some of the templates do not use the highlight button.
So when using some templates the activation is a small part of the thumbnail frame. On a dvd player this small outline can be hard to see.
So that's where I use the customize feature and select "No Frame".
When you play this back in a dvd player the complete thumbnail then becomes highlighted when you select it. Much easier to navigate the dvd. "

I can't find where to select "No Frame". Can you help with this please? I'm using MovieFactory 6.

Installing the latest update Patch#2 should fix your problem.
No need for the no frame, it may not work if you have a pre-released version of MF6. Patch# 2 for MF6+ should repair this issue.

Thanks etech for your quick reply. Unfortunately the patch hasn't made any difference. As an alternative, is there any way I am able to add text to the menu screens with instructions e.g. "press chapter # on remote to view appropriate clip"?

Hi there

Clearly I am a plonker, and I mustn't have correctly installed patch 2 on the first try. I've re-installed patch 2 and the highlights all work beautifully now.
