Install Error about DirectX

Hi. I just got a retail boxed version of Ulead DVD MovieFactory 6 Plus. When I try to install it, I get the following error:

“Installation will stop now, because Microsoft DirectX 9.0 or above must be installed first before installing DVD MovieFactory.

Please download Microsoft DirectX 9.0 or above from the Microsoft Web site, and then install DVD MovieFactory again.”

This is incorrect. I have DirectX 9.0c (4.09.000.0904) installed. I also downloaded and installed DirectX Runtime Optional Components, but it didn’t help.

Go HERE and download the latest MS Direct-X drivers. The most current is dated Nov. '07.

Thanks, vidoman, that’s the same version I already have installed. It works fine with dxdiag, Google Earth, and everything else; but the MF 6+ installation utility for some reason is not recognizing it correctly.
