Adjusting Sound
What is the easiest way to make adjustments to sound in a video, both music and the basic sound track with the movie - I seem to have issues with this.

There are many ways, and each user will have his own opinion as to what is best, easiest, etc.
How about if we start with what problems you are having, and how you are trying to adjust the audio.

Let's say I have a movie with talking, and I have music on the music track. There are times I want the music turned down and maybe want the voice turned up.
When I use the curser to touch the lines on the audio (red), I can adjust the lines (dots appear), and move these up and down, but when I play it back, the volume has not changed at all.
I don't know what I am doing wrong. I note that there is a green line also.

But that's not going to adjust your sound levels....Alley wrote:Okay, did a search and found a post about making sure you are in Project Mode and not clip mode. I just tried it and it worked.
You need to be in audio view and adjust levels manually with the rubber band at various times of the time line

That's exactly right. You must be in Project mode to hear the changes.
