When you capture video's with several different events on them can you save each event to a different file for future editing so you do not have to view each video several times?
Thank You

Depends what kind of video you are capturing. If it is standard definition mini DV, you can set 'Split by scene' during capture. This will create many individual clips during the capture process, all of which will appear as a separate icon on the Library pane.
If its standard definition mpeg-2, then you can split-by-scene in one operation after capture is complete. I think this is also possible with mpeg-2 captured from a hard disk standard definition camera, and from mpeg-2 video which has been imported successfully from a mini DVD camera.
I am not sure about high definition video, but I don't think split-by-scene is available within Video Studio for that. There is, however, a freeware program called HDV Split which some of our users employ for this. However, I will leave it for owners of HD cameras to comment on this.

VS10+ for m2t files
Someone posted this: "VS10 had a nice conversion, if you loaded a TS file into VS10+ the program would ask you do you want to convert it to PS format. VS10+ converted the TS to PS very fast, similar to a file copy."
Can anyone verify that VS10+ can handle m2t (TS) files created by HDVsplit?
