When testing this feature I noticed that importing an SRT file would erase all Text on my video. I noticed I could add text after inserting the subtitles, but I usually finish editing before including subtitles (been doing it manually). Is it possible to do this? It was kind of excited to use this feature but I guess I'll have to stick with adding them manually.

Going by my tests when creating this:
Create Subtitles with VS11+ for use in MF6+ (Video) what you described is what I expected.
VideoStudio does not have a true subtitle track but utilises the title track.
