Not much information in your post, unfortunately.
Internal Error 2711 is a Windows Installer error, and may be caused by corruption of entries in the registry. Lots of things could cause that, unfortunately. Here's a link to a Microsoft article on how to clean up such an error. Although it refers to Microsoft Office, I believe the same factors are at play on your machine.

Can you go to your forum "profile" and enter all the information about your pc.
Did you buy the full boxed set of VS11.5 from Amazon? I see only listings for Version 11 Plus. Typically, once you have a registered version of 11 Plus installed on your pc, you can download the (free) "Power Pack" patch to upgrade it to 11.5 Plus.
Do you have Windows System Restore enabled? It's enabled in Windows XP by default. It is generally a good idea to make a fresh system restore point prior to loading any new software. That way you can easily reset your pc if things don't work out. Otherwise, just using the programs own uninstall utility often leaves traces of the program that have to be manually removed before attempting a re-install.
If you do manage to clean things up, make a new restore point before trying to re-install VS.
