I have a tv show that is an avi file but in the path name it states xvid. When I try to convert from avi to dvd I get no audio and I am unable to retain the 16:9 ratio so the resulting output is squished.
The source file is recorded as NTSC, XviD MPEG-4 Codec comes up as compression and Audio is Lame MP3 48000kHz 16bit stereo when I check the properties of the file. One file had 110 kbit stereo 48000 kHz and it converted ok. When viewing the files in the main window I can click on play and I have audio, as soon as I create the dvd it has no audio.
I presume it is the project properties or a missing codec, I'm just not sure which one, or where the option to keep the 16:9 ratio. I have tried all the settings on the Image resampling option with no luck, although not sure what is exactly meant by resampling... if that is the preview or the output... So any suggestions would be appreciated.

Re: V7 avi xvid to dvd format problems
There is none, VS7 doesn't support 16:9 at least AFAIK. 16:9 support only recently became a mainstream option for consumer applications.beesquared wrote: I'm just not sure which one, or where the option to keep the 16:9 ratio.
