How to add my own music, track, to the menu thumbnails?

I need this,

I have use the smartscene menu : 06_ones02

When i see the secondary menu where are the chapters i move the mouse over them and the picture to the left side changes according to the chapter beginnig but no the audio (background audio).

What i would like to know is how i can use my own audio or the audio from the film for every menu thumbnail, so that when i displace the mouse (or tv remote) over the chapter menu not just the image change but the audio .

The background audio (like the background video) is associated with the whole menu, rather than the button.

There is a trick you can use, but I don't know if it works with Movie Factory... Perhaps someone else can answer that. (You can do it with DVD Workshop*, and probably with other high-end authoring programs.)

The trick is to make several almost-identical menus. (If you have 10 thumbnails, you would need 10 menus.) You would set each button to auto-activate. As soon as you highlight a thumbnail/button, it jumps to a similar-looking menu with different audio. The pre-selected button on that copy of the menu is not auto-activated, but all of the other buttons are. So, if you select the already-highlighted button, that chapter is played, if you highlight a different button, you immediately jump to another similar menu.


*DVD Workshop is an older program that's being phased-out by Corel.

Is an interesting idea, i have DVD Workshop, and DVD author, although i would like to do it with DVD Mfactory cause i find very cool some smartcene templates
