VideoStudio 8 SE VCD
I have just bought a new digital camera which has VideoStudio 8 SE VCD bundled with it, I guess SE is the cut down version of the package, but my question is, can I burn my video I create to DVD as it is called VCD.

Yes you can, you only need to change the audio to 48hz. At least that's the way it should work I don't know how VS8 treats VCD spec video. To maintain the best quality you only want to encode video to DVD spec once. VCD video is DVD compliant, you only need to reencode the audio.
Create a new DVD template using the VCD attributes of your VCD file, right click the file to see what they are. You can easily tell if it's reencodeing by how long it takes to create the disc. If you have a 1 hour video it should take no longer than about 45 minutes to an hour.
