number of templates of VS11+ vs MF6

Hi,

I currently use VS11+ for DVD editing. I do not perform much edit on my movies and I was wondering whether Movie Factory may better fit my needs. If I download the trial version, I will only see a limited number of templates. so I was wondering whether anyone can tell me whether there are more DVD templates in MF compared to VS. I find the number of templates in VS rather low.

I'm thinking about upgrading to VS11+ from VS10+. I'm curious how many chapters can be placed on the text menus. Is there a parameter to adjust this at menu creation time?

I do some music video and use song titles as chapters, and would like to fit 7-10 chapter titles on on screen rather than have a bunch of screens displaying 4-5 titles each.

Anyone know if a version 12 in the near future?

The usual release cycle for new versions of VS is one year from, normally, around April. But that is not to say that any version 12 is going to have templates with large numbers of icons possible...

Some of our regular members have devised their own menus which can have 10 (or even 12?) thumbnails on a single page. They use PhotoImpact to do this as it uses the Ulead proprietary .ufo template format.
