Can anyone explain the cause of the following error message when I try to capture footage off a Canon HV10 using Firewire, on a PC running XP:
"Cannot start capture graph"

Lately this seems to be attributed to DirectX. Go HERE and download the latest MS Direct-X drivers. The most current is dated Nov. '07.
