Hello!
My subject is the following:
I already use UVS there are some years. Recently I updated for the version 11plus with the objective of editing mts files of my new camera Panasonic SD1. The version 11plus doesn't recognize AVCHD (mts). I tried to update the software for the version 11.5. At the beginning I installed the patch (27Mb) and the software passed for the version 11.0.0157.2. When I tried to install the Power pack (53,9Mb), the end of the installation gives error and the software is shut down.
I already tried all the installation in my friend's computer and everything ran well. The difference that encounter is the fact of my computer to be an AMD and the one of him to be a PENTIUM.
Can somebody help me?
UVS11.5 Power pack

No the AMD processor is not the problem. I had no problems installing the Powerpack on my XP machine, which also as an AMD processor.
Did you encounter any problems while installing with the AVControl SDK? If so you need to install the Hotfix. If not did you install the hotfix anyway? If you did, you should not have.
Try doing a complete un-install/re-install. Ulead programs leave a lot of files behind. So just doing a simple add/remove programs from the control panel and then re-installing may not correct some issues. Instructions can be found here : Re-installation of Ulead Products
VS11 is real picky about having the current DirectX installed. If you have not updated it recently you need to go HERE and download the latest MS Direct-X drivers. The most current is dated Nov. '07.

Thank you for the attention.
Ok, I didn't find problems while installing with the AVControl SDK. Hotfix is not installed.
There is a curious detail, before the installation of the patch, when I tried to open the mts file, appeared a message like: (file not compatible). Now with the patch, the software gives error and it is automatically turned off.
I already installed the software several times and the result is always the same. I will follow your advice
and in first place I will verify DirectX.
Any comment will be well coming.
Happy new year of 2008.
(Sorry for my bad English)

Bad English?? Seems better than mine..
I'm not versed with the HDV, M2TS(other than it stands for MPEG2 Transport Stream). Do a search on the forum, in the second box for keywords insert the user name etech6355. He's posted numerous times on this. I know you'll find your answer. He's our HDV/AVCHD, M2TS wizard..
