Vista Compatibility Question?

Hello Guys:

Got a question for you. It seems like:

PhotoImpact 11
Gif Animaror 5

Are not compatible with Windows Vista (according to the Ulead site system requirement description). I have just purchased a new system with windows vista and my old Ulead software are not compatible with vista. So I was surfing the site to purchase new Ulead software and then I found out that these new ones are also not compatible! :(

So the questions are:

Are above software compatible with Vista (To your knowledge would they work)?
If not, then will Ulead come out with compatible software soon? :roll:

PhotoImpact 11 is not a new version. The current version is PI-12. They released PI-13 in Japan about 2 months ago.

No they will not work on Vista. There is a Vista patch for PI-12.

I. Will this PI 13 soon be published in States?
II. Is Corel Paint Shop Pro Photo X2 anything like PI series?

Regarding version 11 please view:
I got PI v11 to work in Vista

Regarding version 12 - it works great on my Vista Home Premium System - you need to install the Vista patch

Regarding Version 13 - it will be released when they have finished developing it, there have been rumors of PhotoImpact X3 being released in Japan - I guess someone has to Beta Test it for us.

sjj1805 - Interesting, was keen on PI 12 but not in stock with supplier. as you mentioned that you have Vist Home Premium it works but needs to Vista patch - I have Vista Home Basic - will this work??

Also any idea on PI 13's released date?? Keen to know more
