DVD MovieFactory 2 SE Slideshow Problems

OK, I know I have an old version here, but does anyone know what is causing problems with the PictureShow 2 SE bundled with MovieFactory 2 SE?

Every time I click on "New Slideshow," I get the dreaded XP message that the program has encountered an error and needs to close. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling twice already. I can't find any relevant updates on the website. . . Any ideas here?

What's the detailed error you see?

It's possible some files in the hard disk are not compatible with the file browser of the slide-show module.

Of course, there's a lot more on the report my computer wants to send to Microsoft. If anyone here understands that, I could post it too. . .

OK -- now I'm really frustrated! I thought this would be a good excuse to buy the MovieFactory 4, but that version does the exact same thing!

I don't seem to have this problem with any other Windows program. Anybody seen this before?
