Can't Find My Program Cd & Info on Transparent Backgroun

Post by Marlene »

I can't find my program cd for Video Studio 9. Is there a link on the Ulead site I can download it from?

Another question if I may ask.

I have some gif animations I want to make into a video which I can do with Windows Movie Maker but I can't keep the transparent background with WMM (at least that I can figure out). Would I be able to with VS9 or any upgraded versions?

Firstly regarding obtaining another copy of VS9. I do not know of any web site where you could download even a trial version of VS9. I suggest that you either purchase a later version OR look at Ebay - there currently is a listing for VS9 from an someone in Australia. Check http://search.ebay.com.au/search/search ... category0=

Secondly you can render a background transparent with VS9 (and later versions) so long at the background color is a uniform colour and reasonably different than any color in the foreground otherwise when you apply chroma key you might end up with parts of the foreground image being rendered transparent as well as the background (you use the 'similarity' function to adjust now much is rendered transparent).

Or if it is just a copy of the user manual you need Marlene you can download it from here :-

http://www.ulead.com/vs/documents.htm

Also with VideoStudio open either press 'F1' or click on the question mark (top right corner of your screen) to access the programme help files - you may also find the answer in there.
