Hi all, I've been trying to record a simple task in the Quick Command panel (in PI12), but it only records some of the commands.
I do the following:
Select text
Right click and 'Edit attributes'
Change size to 28
Set to Bold
Set to Italic
Add 2px white border
Add shadow
but the Quick Command only records the 'Add shadow' part. I've followed the instructions in the PI12 help file to the letter, and all the commands appear in the History part of the Quick Command box, but in the Task part I only have the 'Add shadow' command, and that's all it does when I play the command on a new piece of text.
Can anybody tell me what I'm doing wrong, or doesn't PI12 record certain actions?

Quick Command recording problems
I also have a problem with recording new Quick Command tasks in PhotoImpact 12. I have found that regular Ulead actions and plug-ins record fine but when I use 3rd party Plug-ins like Focal Blade, Light Machine or Nik Sharpener, they show in the history list but do not appear in the task I am recording.
I had no problem with this in PI 10 and the quick commands have been an important part of my image editing workflow.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks for the video links SJJ, but unfortunately they don't help with my problem.
I am trying to set up a Quick Command for:
Convert object type - From text/image to path
Add 2 px black border
Add shadow (with my customised shadow settings)
Fill background with blue
It will record the convert object type.
It won't record the 2px black border.
It will record adding the shadow.
It won't record the background fill.
Is this normal? I can't use the Quick Command Panel if it only records half of what I want it to - is it possible my installation is corrupted? I recently reinstalled Windows XP and all my applications (12 hours' work) and reinstalled PI12 at the same time, so I doubt it's corrupted, as it's always been like this.
I've tried recording the adding of the black border several times, at different positions in the Quick Command list, but each time it's just completely ignored.
