VS9 and adaptec 2210 usb capture device Problem

I got on a bit of a rant on my other thread so thought I' get a fresh start here...

Here is the problem I'm having with now v9 and the adaptec 2210 usb capture device. v9 seems to detect it ok but there is no preview showing up.

So I just tried a capture.....

I attempted to look at the capture configuration. as soon as I clicked on the capture tab.....
