Hello,
Is there any solution to create a graphic design with Ulead that garanties high print quality ( Eps of Al format ) so when the image is enlarged or resized it does not loose in quality when it needs to be printed on bussiness cards,Posters etc?
Thx!

Just from Ulead's opening statement about the program, I'd have to say not really. It is primarily a tool used for video production, and not so much for creating print media.Ulead Website wrote: Ulead® COOL 3D™ Production Studio is a new breed of 3D animation software for high-quality video production. Streamline your 3D text and graphics with advanced tools to produce professional-looking animation.

If you want to print it, then you don't need animation, only a still picture.
In this case rendering time is of little concern and you can resize your project's output to any size that fits your printing needs.
Don't forget to increase the quality settings too, especially curves quality.
A 2000x1500 pix image should do nicely (well except for posters).

This my understanding of it.

Hello Daniel,
Thx for your respons. You're absolutely right about the animations.
I dont need that to print. It's just that we are used to Cool3D and will have to learn now to use programs as Adobe illustrator etc. to be able to create Logo's with print quality.
So you are from Belgium? Do you speak Dutch or French?
I was born and raised in Belgium ( Vilvoorde ) but moved to the Netherlands a few years back.

I guess, your question really was whether or not COOL 3D could create vector graphics.
Just compare the price of your program with one of the professional programs and I'm sure you can see why it can't. Cool 3D can use vector graphics but cannot export vector. Hence, any design you do will look ok in its original size and smaller but enlarged it won't, sorry.

Logologics,
C3DPS will do pictures up to 3000x3000 if you have the RAM needed.
(I several times did 2000x1500 without problems using 1GB.)
It will be enough for a 300dpi 10x10 inches logo.
Otherwise as Heinz said you'd better switch to a graphics package, not a video animation tool.
I'm in Brussels so Dutch or French, your pick, but on the web it's international-english only.
Gelukkig nieuwjaar, bonne annee and a happy new year.

Hello Heinz and Daniel,
Thx for the comments!
Happy New year to you too!
Other question though.....I try to use a dingbat font ( .ttf ) but it doesnt work in Cool 3D........any suggestions?
http://www.dafont.com/theme.php?cat=717
its the second font on the page named Clubz
I can use it in Xara 3d for example.
I can use a black and white image and convert it to vector in Ulead but the font is much better.
if I use an image the edges are very jagged the font is sharp edged.
I think it has to do with the fact that it's a Symbol instead of wester font type..
Is there a way around this...
Or any other way to get for example a Xara x3d in to ulead...
(when it uses .x or .x 3ds)
Please help me. I'd love to get the font in Ulead or a file I can open in Ulead.
Thanx
