How to make subtitles???

Post by manish2535 »

I want to add subtitles to my video, i looked in the help file but it only says" how to insert an already existing subtitle (.utf format) " and does not say anything about how to make a subtitle in the first place. This may be a stupid question but i am new in this process so can anyone help. please!!!!!

According to Page #91 of VS11+ manual
VS11 Manual wrote:Saving subtitle files Saving movie subtitles allows you to reuse them in the future. Click Save Subtitle File to open the Save As dialog box. Locate where to save your movie subtitle and click Save.
Note: To open subtitles with non-English characters, select the appropriate option in Language.
Notes:
¡E Movie subtitles will automatically be saved as *.utf files.
¡E To save subtitles in foreign languages like Chinese, Japanese or Greek, click Open
Subtitle File in the Options Panel and browse for the particular file. Before you
open the file, however, make sure you select the corresponding language in
Language.
Nothing more the typing your text/title as usual, then saving as stated above. ;)

Well, I'd like to join in on this:

How can I make titles/subtitles which don't fade in/out but simply appear, like normal subtitles? The stupid "oh so pretty" fade-in effect slows them down and makes them unreadable if you want to time them properly.

Nevermind... just unchecked "Apply animation"
