Resume in setup-menu?

Hi all.
I've created an setup menu to choose sound and subtitles for my dvd. It works good, but what I need to know is: Say I choose eng language and no subs, then play movie, but then decide to switch to (for instance) japanese language. After I've been to the setup menu, how can I make the disc resume at it's previous point buth with the new settings? I think need some kind of (resume)button on the setup menu but not sure.
Would apreciate if somebody could help me.
I'm using DVD WS 2.0
