I have the version of DVD Movie Factory that came with MSP8. I am having several problems that I am running into. #1 When it is showing "Converting video title" 1/16 it only takes a few minutes to get through the first 9 then when it hits 10/16 it takes 20 minutes, after that it only takes a few minutes to get through the rest of the video titles. What exactly is it doing when it is converting the titles?
#2 I have made a 1 hour wedding video with 16 chapters every time I want to burn more DVD's it takes almost 2 hours to render then after that it is 15 minutes to burn any additional DVD's, is there a way that I can save the rendered file so I don't have to re-render to burn more DVD's?
#3 I have been running 2 Gigs of RAM for the last year and a half, when I added an additional 2 Gigs the system only see's 3.4 Gigs. When I go into the BIOS it shows I have 4 Gigs and 3.4 Gigs is available for Windows. Also Ulead DVD Movie Factory will crash with the additional memory. Also I get an echo in the Audio when I click on items in Windows with the additional RAM

When it converts the titles it is in fact creating a short video.
Each DVD Menu screen is a short video in its own rights and superimposed upon that video are hotspots - where you have thumbnails, buttons and so on, so that you can select and activate these hotpsots with your DVD remote control.
Some menus can gake longer than others to create, please view:
Why do Smartscene menus take so long to create?
Once you have created your DVD then rather than burn to disc, burn to either a hard drive folder (my preference) or create an ISO file (Disc Image). You can then burn off as many copies as you wish with no further rendering to be done.
