Hi,
I am trying to capture video from my Handycam Panasonic GS 5 to PC connected thru USB, it comes with error no Video caputre device, do we need to buy one.

No, you need to get yourself a firewire cable and connect that way. The USB connection is for transferring still images from the camera.

The firewire cable is connected to DV - out on the camera and capture should be to DV-AVI type 1.
