I can't Create a video file in VS 9.0

Post by mideastbeastL337 »

Hey there, and thanks in advance for the help.

Basically, the title says it all. I used this product before on the same computer, same everything, but now for some reason after a few month of not being able to get a chance to use it... I can't create video files :-(

All it does is give me an hourglass for about 20-30 seconds... and then closes out without warning, any help I could get is appreciated :-(.

I tried reinstalling already and it didn't help.

Sorry, but what you have asked is a bit like someone ringing up a motor mechanic and saying "I haven't used my car for a few months, and now it won't work. Why not?". We aren't there. We aren't mind readers, so we have no idea what sort of video you have been editing, what sort of video you are trying to produce, what editing you have done to it, what your workflow is, what sort of computer you have and what operating system it has. Have a look at the sticky posting at the top of this Board, which says Read This Before Posting, and get back to us with the information required. That way, someone might at least be able to come up with an educated guess.

Well it was a video I had put together before, I just wanted to make it smaller but I didn't even get the chance to do it.

So I tried testing with one of the sample clips at the beginning, just with the woman with the camera, and it still crashed.

Sounds like something on your system may have changed since you last used it. Can you do a System Restore to sometime close to when it last worked?
