Removing the video in the menu

Post by Berzelius »

When burning a disc, all of the supplied templates seem to use the first clip of the project as a small video in the menu. How can this video be removed? When the video is selected, Delete has no effect. Unticking Motion Menu in Edit stops the video playing but leaves the first frame in the menu.

The only workaround I have found is to set Transparency to 99%. However, this still leaves the video there. Is there any way to completely remove it?

How about using a Thumbnail template or perhaps a Text template?

Many thanks.

I was a bit puzzled at first because the index to the manual mentions neither of these terms - in fact it hasn't even got an entry for Template! (OK, it does have an entry for Theme Template). However, I have just opened up VideoStudio and realised that there is actually a dropdown menu in Gallery which accesses these templates - it seems that I missed the obvious! The thumbnail templates look very useful.
