Hello,
I had iTunes installed which caused issues with MF6+ so I uninstalled iTunes and MF6+ works fine.
I would like to be able to use iTunes and I would be grateful for any advice before I proceed, my PC is a Fujitsu-Siemens Amilo Pi1536 laptop,1024Mb Ram, C Drive 100GB.
I have now purchased a 320GB external hard drive and would like to know if I installed iTunes on this drive and imported video/audio files would there be any conflicts with the C drive.
Regards, David

I don't know for certain however, here's a few posts concerning it and various Ulead programs. I don't use and refuse to install iTunes, RealMedia on any of my PCs. They are intrusive, and fall into the category of hard to get rid of..

Installing it on an external drive probably won't help. You can't completely isolate an application because most Windows programs will make changes to the Windows Registry, and possibly add (or replace) DLLs and other files to the operating system's folders on your C drive.
The entanglement between the operating system and applications causes lots of problems, and it probably has something to do with the conflict you are experiencing!

Thank you for your replies.
I guess I will have to invest in a seperate PC if I want to continue using iTunes.
Kind Regards, David

Because there is an existing thread on this subject I am locking this one.sjj1805 In your previous post wrote:I have long ago issued a complete ban on any of my family installing itunes on any of my computers. Whenever anyone in the past has done so I have had problems with my Video Editing Software and have had to spend ages carefully removing any trace of it.
If you really want itunes then set up a dual boot system and dedicate one system to Video Editing well away from itunes.
