time line problem

I have a red line in the time line area of my project. How do I get rid of it?
It is keeping me from adding any more clips to my project.
Please help. VS 11 user.

The red line is just the Preview Range for the Project. To remove it click on the word Project located above Clip. These are the modes. Then grab the triangles, on either end of the blue pause/duration bar, and drag them to the far left and right ends.
