Transitioning pictures washed out

Hi!

OK so I have one still image, then a wipe to another.

VS9 is washing-out the piuctures. That is to say it looks like the brightness is cranked up.

This is unacceptable.

any thoughts?

What's the transition you're using, and how long have you made the image clips? Maybe they're too short and all your basically seeing is the transition?

a wipe transistion.

Pictures are long (like 30 seconds)

there should be NO change in the pictures.
