Hello to all,
first, sorry for my "bad" english ...
I try create an AVCHD based on h.264/AVC TS-Stream with an AC3 Dolby 5.1 Audiostream recorded with DVBViewer.
The video stream has a solution of 1920x1088 !
The Problem is the MF6 always will be "reencoded" the Movie, although I create a new AVCHD-Template with an solution of 1920x1080 !
Now I read in another forum that the problem can be the solution "1088" instead of "1080" ?!
Is that right ? How can I create a "AVCHD" template with solution of "1920x1088", or is there anyway a program to modify the solution info
in the ts-stream, or is there an other that MF6 will always reencode the imported stream ?
Thanks for your help

U.J,
There is utility called HDPatch that will strip those 8 pixels and create material that has RESOLUTION of 1920x1080.

the problem is that HDPatch can only work with MPEG2-streams but not with h.264-Streams.
When I try to load a h.264-ts-stream than the error message "Initialzation error: Error! Sequence header not found" will be shown !

Under the GEAR Icon is the options for the encoder whether to convert or not convert compliant video.
The "Do No Convert Compliant Mpeg" is checked ON by default.
Try also selecting "XDisc" (click this ON). So make sure they are both checked ON.
That is for the Extended Disc Format. The reason it's not checked on by default is some players play not play the video properly.
It's worth a try, may or may not work.

I have try this but to check on the "XDisc" checkbox has no effect !
MF6 always will reencode the stream !
Is there no chance to create an AVCHD-Template with a video solution 1920x1080 to test whether the solution "1920x1088"
is really the problem ?
Thanks

I had the same problem with a 1088i50hz-h.264/AC3-file in a .ts-container which MF6+ did not accept for burning without re-encoding. I had to test this for some nights, but I found that neither the 1088i nor the 50hz are really the problem (provided that you have choosen "PAL/ SECAM" in your preferences).
Actually, the problem appears to be the header information of the .ts-stream which has to match with the requirements of MF6+.
Try remuxing the original stream with tsMuxeR to a new .ts-file letting all settings unchanced but while checking the boxes for "picture timing info" and "insert SPS/PPS". Then import this new file onto the timeline of Mf6+. The required space on the disc which MF6+ now shows on the buttom line should now be equal to the size of the new .ts-file. This workaround has resolved my problem and I could burn without re-encoding !!
